Ferry Pick Ups
We do ferry pick ups from the Interislander Ferries. We are unable to pick up from the Bluebridge Ferry as we don’t have a parking permit for this terminal. There is a Bluebridge shuttle that will drop guests off outside the font door of the Villa, just make sure you ask the driver!
Email, Internet & Phone Services
Here at The Villa we provide free unlimited Wifi throughout the main building and we also have a phone for guest use with international phone cards or local and freephone numbers. The Library close by has free internet access as well as computers for use.
Store your packs, bikes, skis etc while you are on the Queen Charlotte Track or travelling around the South Island. Unfortunately we cannot store cars, but we can arrange storage for you.

We can book and ticket Interisland Line ferries, trains and Intercity coaches nationwide as well as Soundsair, our local airline to Wellington and outer Sounds.
We can also book all buses and shuttles out of Picton and return. Most stop and pickup at our gate – Stray and Kiwi Experience “backpacker bus” tickets.
The Villa are agents for several rental car companies, we always do our best to get the best deals for you.

Offers great packages for those travelling to Kaikoura in a car. The skiing or boarding is much more affordable and more friendly than big commercial fields. Mt Lyford takes about 3 hours to reach from Picton. The shuttle goes from Kaikoura to Mt Lyford daily. Accommodation can be found in Kaikoura or else stay at the lodge at the bottom of the mountain.
For those travelling to Nelson. Rainbow Ski field takes about 1 1/2 hours to reach from Picton. No public transport leaves from Picton or Blenheim but does leave daily from Nelson.
